“It’s a wonderful thing to be recognized by our peers for this,” said David Lowe-Rogstad, creative director at opus:creative. “Not only was it a great opportunity, but it was that rare chance to have almost no limits in creating an experience like this. This is what happens when you put a great project in front of a great team.”
The site, developed in partnership with Wieden+Kennedy, is a deep Flash-based site that maks extensive use of Flash-based video. The site has two Flash-based games, a vomiting bear, and a way for users to explore the site and upload their own “Bodeism” to the Bode Tree. Users had to watch at least ten videos before being able to add their personal mantra to the site.
“Truthfully, by requiring that many videos, I expected maybe fifty people to post to the site,” said Lowe-Rogstad. “We had over 3,500 postings. That means we delivered well over 35,000 pieces of viral video content in less than two months’ time.”
This award is truly an effort across the entire team, who put together the entire site in less than six weeks:

David Lowe-Rogstad

Shaun Tinney
